What Does Pressure Around A Stent In The Sinus Indicate?

I had a stent placed in the right transverse sinus in 2014, then in 2016 on the left. Lately I have had pressure on the right side, where I assume the stent is. Should I be worried? I haven t been to dr. in quite a while as things have been going well.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

We need some more details about the pressure you have but what least can be said while thinking on your lines, I would advise you must see the doctor, this must not be ignored. This may not be serious but still be taken seriously, especially in such a significant history of recurrent embolisms. So see your doctor to rule out any possible complication of the stent.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
