What Does Pressure In The Ears Indicate?

I fell asleep with my headphones on and had a bad dream (which I hadn t had in a long time) and then woke up 3 hours later feeling the back of my right ear being pressurized by my headphones and hurting, could a blood clot have formed behind my right ear because of that?
