Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am feeling pressure build in my head whenever I bend over. Weather its to put dishes away, pick up something off the floor, get up out of the recliner. Only for that second and then when I stand up again its gone. But it s consistent, and headache like for those few seconds. If I bend over intentionally and stay, it is there for a second and then as I remain bent over it goes away. Its been going on for about 2 months.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it needs to be evaluated by fundus examination if any signs of raised intracranial pressure exist and if needed the pressure sensation needs to be worked up with brain imaging and shouldn't be ignored. However in absence of any other focal deficits hopefully it will turn out to be normal but Initial work up should be done. If no subjective cause is found sometimes basilar migraines may present like this however neurological examination and neurologist review is a must.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
