What Does Pressure Sensation In The Rectal Area After Child Birth Indicate?

I have a friend who had a c/s about 4 weeks ago she delivered at 27 weeks due to pre-eclampsia and today she took a shower and when she got out a huge flow of blood (red with clots) came out and now she feels pressure in her rectum. She described it as a pulling pain and that her insides feel like they are falling out. She s been to OB triage 4 times and they dismissed her every time, do you have any ideas so i may help her?

Hello
It sounds like your friend may have hemorrhoids. They can cause a pressure like sensation, pain and even bleed.
It is common to develop hemorrhoids during pregnancy.
There are creams such as anusol or those with hydrocortisone that can be used as well as sitz baths may help.
I hope she feels better soon.
