had mri for hip and abdominal pain. shows prominence of right adnexa measuring 2.9 cm more than likely normal ovarly the problem is i had my right ovary and fallopian tube removed 04/2011 due to POD. i am 45, 5 5 , 275lb, have been period free since 11/2010.

This can be done through a laparoscopic study, but, before that, you have to get a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route to know the status of the pelvic organs. A biopsy of the mass may be performed at laparoscopy, if decided so. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
