What Does Prominence Of Right Adnexa Mean In MRI?
had mri for hip and abdominal pain. shows prominence of right adnexa measuring 2.9 cm more than likely normal ovarly the problem is i had my right ovary and fallopian tube removed 04/2011 due to POD. i am 45, 5 5 , 275lb, have been period free since 11/2010.

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. In the current scenario, the nature of the mass needs to be determined. This can be done through a laparoscopic study, but, before that, you have to get a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route to know the status of the pelvic organs. A biopsy of the mass may be performed at laparoscopy, if decided so. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
