Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Arun's Response
Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that having 45 pus cells in the urine is suggestive of urinary tract infection. Traces of protein is in the support of infection of urinary tract. I advice you to discuss fluroquinolone group of drug with your treating doctor. After taking this drug I advice you to repeat the test after a week. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx. Dr. Arun Tank
Hello dear, you have posted only urine report , so i am telling about this ,your mother is having urinary tract infection mostly ,and you said protein was trace this is due to high pus cell, your mother should have a course of antibiotic and if this is recurrent then you should go for urine culture and sensitivity report. thank u.
