What Does Protrusion Towards Bottom Of Spine Causing Back Pain In A Child Mean?

my 9 year old daughter has had leg cramps for years - not so much anymore - now she is having lower back pain for about 2 yrs now - she has a lump/protrusion toward bottom of spine - she doesn t bend as easy anymore and frequently has back pain - sometimes limps and cannot go long when walking - chiropractor said she just has a hip issue as well as a more-so straight lower back - makes her feel good for a while then pain comes back

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

I agree with what the chiropractor has told but at the same time, I would also recommend getting her tested for vitamin D and calcium deficiency and get her treated appropriately if there is a deficiency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
