What Does Putrid Nasal Mucus Smell And Taste Signify While Diagnosed With MCTD Disease And MCTD Related Mouth And Nasal Sores?
I was diagnosed with MCTD disease several months ago. Last week I began to notice a putrid smell to my nasal mucus as well have a putrid taste to the drainage in the back of my throat. I do have a problem with mouth and nasal sores due to the MCTD. Should I be concerned?
hi, you probably developed ulceration of septum or tubinate which got infected, common in a patient of connective tissue disease. you need to start antibiotics and anti histamines to prevent complications. consult a ENT surgeon for a checkup. hope this helped.
