What Does "C5 And C6 Large Annular Bulge" In The MRI Report Indicate?

I was in an accident nov 22 2011, I suffered neck, shoulder, back pain. Now I have pain in hands, numbness and a hot sensation at times. MRI revealed c5 and c6 large anular bulge, narrowing if spinal canal and possible mild compression. Is this a permanent thing? Prognosis? Treatment? Do u think that this is soley from accident? I have been out of work since accident and will I end up on social security?

Hello, in MRI it is clearly mentioned that there is annular buldge and shortening of spinal canal, possible mild compression... your symptoms are beacuse of them itself depending on the level of injury. You should consult neurosurgeon nearby for furthur management. Thank you
