What Does "laxity Of The Small Abdominal Wall " Mean?
I had a CT SCAN and MRI done OCT. 14TH .the test showed there is laxity of the small abdominal wall fascia anteriorly with a loop of the small bowel protruding toward the fascia surface in a distribution ,there is no evidence to suggest bowel obstruction...But I have pain and diarrhea, bloating and when I eat most of the time I can feel the food moving through me with gas and gurgling loud intestinal movement. I had surgery done Jan 16th 2014 and the doctor had to remove pieces of mesh that was eroding in me from the year before hernia repair ...can anyone help me ,please
1.The report suggest there is a defect in the anterior abdominal wall with herniating contents of bowel. 2.But the bowel has not seen any strangulation / obstruction - which could be seen free. 3.In this case an operative procedure with the replacement of the mesh and closure of the defect is recommended. 4.The dyspeptic disorders are due to the partial strangulation / pressure effect causing inflammatory changes. 5.Do not lift any weight as it may cause the defect increase and strangulation.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
