What Does Recurrent Hiccups, Heart Burns And Shortness Of Breath Suggest?
having a constant hiccupping, heart burn, snorting of breath. I am coming off of morphine 15mg twice daily, is this a normal withdrawal reaction.. Spent six hours in va emergency last night. Told doctor of symptoms and never got a reply. They did x rays , ekg etc. Can t eat, anything sets it off. Even water. Can t sleep, it starts out of nowhere and wakes me up. Have to sit up straight to get least reaction. Thanks

I really appreciate your concern, because of extreme stress acid secretion is gastric region increases and this could cause hiccup and heart burn, in my opinion such condition can be better managed with "Antacid with local anaesthetic agent, second Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg" once in day at evening time can be tried, hope this information helps, try to low down the stress, take care.
