General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Pain that radiates to the neck from the chest is most commonly due to reflux.

Reflux can be associated with bloating which causes a tight feeling though this is more commonly felt in the abdominal region.

Treatment involves lifestyle changes along with medications such as Pepcid, Prilosec, Prevacid, Protonix, Nexium, etc.

Lifestyle changes involve- reducing the use of spicy foods, reducing the use of citrus foods, waiting 2 hours after eating before laying down, reducing meal size, weight loss of any excess weight.

I hope this helps.
