What Does Recurring Pain In Abdomen And Under Ribcage With Indigestion Mean?
I started having a 1-2 out of 10 pain on the left side of my abdomen about 2 inches left of my belly button. Now I am having some pain under my rib cage on the left and some back pain. I have a little indigestion at times. It isn t constant pain but lasting longer.

This type of pain may be due to irritable bowel syndrome,intestinal spasm,bilateral kidney stones, pelvic inflammatory disease in female etc.
You should undergo routine blood investigations with x- ray abdomen and ultrasound abdomen first to make a diagnosis.
Treatment will be based on underlying cause otherwise you can symptomatic treatment till that.
You may take symptomatic like antibiotics,antispasmodics,anti inflammatory or probiotics or prebiotics.
Consult gastroenterologist for further advise.
