What Does Red And Swollen Bump Under The Armpit And On Chest Suggest?

I have a bump under my armpit and one on my chest, red and swollen, I put a hot compression on it looks like pus came out of the one under my arm, now there s a small hole there, the one on my chest has what looks like pus sticking out of it, can you help????

Welcome to health care magic,

As per your description, it is most likely a boil or cellulitis.

You must take antibiotics (cephalosporins preferred or quinolones) with analgesics and antiinflammatory to get rid off that.

Here no need to apply neosporin or bandage because it has no role rather you should take antibiotics orally and after treatment it might burst out leading to pus drainage or blood drainage.

You wash them with savlon and water.

Only 3 days course of antibiotics Would be sufficient.

Consult surgeon for further advise.
