Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 3 boys all have red bumps on the back of their throats. The only symptom they have right now is a cough. Nothing else. One of my 3 boys has had their tonsils taken out. The other 2 still have their tonsils and their tonsils are inflamed as well. I have taken them to the Dr and they said their throats are clear and not to worry that the bumps are a normal part of the anatomy?
Hi Welcome to healthcare magic. Tonsils and lymphoid tissues are the normal structures in the throat. They look red normally. Doctor can identify an inflammation by observation. If there is no fever no local pain then there is no reason to worry. I think your doctor is right. I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
