What Does Red Inflammed Pimple With Black Center Above The Breast Suggest?
I have a lump that I thought was a pimple above my breast. I popped it, but only got a little watery discharge out of it. The next day, it looked like a red line/bruise had made its way down one of my ducts leading me to think it may have been an infection or a bite. Then today today, it is still tender but if I pull it up I can feel a knot inside/under my skin. It is bigger than a pea but smaller than a quarter. It looks like a red/inflamed pimple in which the center has turned black. Could this be cancerous or am I over thinking?
Since you had red inflamed pimple above the breast & now can feel a knot under the skin, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a Gynae or GP.
Get mammography, blood work outs, USG & biopsy done to detect if its breast cancer in the early stage or not. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected & the clinical condition.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
