What Does Red Vaginal Spotting After Hysterectomy Indicate?
I had a hysterectomy a year ago so I have no more periods. I went to the bathroom earlier and pooped, then peed. There was no blood in my urine or my stool but when I wiped my vaginal area there was dark red blood? I am also having sharp pains on my lower right side between my belly button and my side... What can this be?!?!?!

I want to know if you had a total hysterectomy or partial one. If you had a partial hysterectomy and colum uteri is present a pap smear is needed. Also, vaginal atrophy may cause bleeding and spotting.
