What Does Reddish String In The Stool Indicate?

I just went to the bathroom. it was very loose and as i flushed i noticed what looked like a red string floating in the water, but I flushed before being able to take a picture today. Earlier today I ate some undercooked shrimp that was previously frozen (about 8 hours ago). What could this be?

Hi,

The red string is partially digested particle from the shrimp consumption.

There is nothing to worry about, just drink plenty of liquids and avoid non-veg for next 3-4 days till stool gets cleared.
