What Does Redness Around The Navel Indicate?

Hi, I had a laparoscopiy two weeks ago and 2 days ago I realised the incision in my belly button was red. The next day it was weeping. I went to the doctor and was given antibiotics for the infection. How long does it take for flucloxacillin to take effect? Many thanks G

itwas infected wound and maintain asceptic measure with antibiotic it will heal within two weeks. keep it under watch. if requered go for change of antibiotic.
