Hi,

Redness on the face after recovering from pneumonia could be due to several factors. One possible explanation could be that the infection has caused some inflammation in the body, which is causing flushing or redness in the face. This may resolve on its own over time as the body recovers.

Another possible explanation is that the antibiotics used to treat pneumonia may have caused an allergic reaction or a skin rash, which could manifest as redness on the face. This is less common but should be discussed with a healthcare provider if it is suspected.

Additionally, if your husband is on blood pressure medication, the medication may be causing facial flushing as a side effect. This should also be discussed with a healthcare provider, as it may be possible to switch to a different medication that does not have this side effect.

Overall, if the redness persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, it is important to speak with a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying medical issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
