What Does Severe Pain And Swelling Behind The Neck Indicate?
I have severe pain and swelling in my bottom of my head down into my neck and then into my shoulder. this is on the left side. it usually lasts about 2 weeks and I have used everything from ice to heat to Tylenol to left over pain pills. I don t know why this happens but would love to find out. I am a senior and exist only on Social Security benefits. Right now can t afford my doctor and am sorry to have bothered you with this. Guess old age hits us all

As per your complaint, your problem may be due to cervical spondylosis. Which mostly occurs due to bad sleeping position. If possible, do some oil oil massage 2-3 times in a day for few weeks. It should give you relief from the pain.
