What Does Severe Pain From The Thighs To The Lower Leg Indicate?

My husband has severe pain from his thigh through his leg. He has seen an ortho doctor with no relief using Celebrex. His x-rays and MRI dictate degenerative disc disease, etc.... He is going back to his primary doctor in hopes of seeing a Neurologist or we can search out a Chiropractor for some immediate relief. He doesn t want to go to the ER but his pain is that bad.

Hi
Thanks for trusting HealthCare magic for your health problems.

For pain relief try aceclofenac 100 mg tablets once or twice a day. I don't know what is chiropractor!!
The pain is because of the nerve compression because of degenerative disk. If rest, aceclofenac and physiotherapy (to make Para vertebrae muscles stronger) is not enough to reduce pain, surgical option is there. For that consult neurosurgeon.
