What Does Severe Pain In The Abdomen And Nausea Indicate?

I woke up in the night with severe burning abdominal pain in the very middle of my stomach,also nausea and sweating. It passed after a while and I went back to sleep. Had another episode with same symptoms after getting up this morning, almost vomited but did not.

In my opinion it these symptoms may be due to colitis or severe gastritis.
However if the location of pain is not exactly where you have described,it could be infection of appendix.
An Ultrasound of abdomen might be considered.
Try taking antacids for symptomatic relief.
Avoid outside food.
