Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Thanks,my wife is having severe stomach pain at this time. She just had a endoscopy and colonoscopy in the past two weeks and her bowels seem to be working OK. The report indicated other than a pylon removal that was benign that everything looked ok. My son who has extensive stomach and colon problems said it could be diverticulitis and said to take an ibuprofen and give ita half hour to see if that helps, otherwise go to the emergency room.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic!
Instead of taking Ibuprofen, your wife should take the tab Drotoverine 40 mg and Pentprazole 40 mg.
Wait for one hour before going to emergency. Rather I will suggest that she should go to emergency as soon as possible after taking any one or all tablets as she needs urgent evaluation .
With Regards
Dr Varinder Joshi
