Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does Severe Pain In The Arch Of The Left Foot Indicate?
For the past week or so I have been having intense pain in the arch of my left foot, shooting pain, when bad I cannot stand on it. However, that said, most of the time if I am on my feet, the pain is tolerable. When I get off my feet it sometimes throbs intensely.
Maybe there is the tarsal collision of the foot. Kindly get an x-ray foot to find if there is any problem with your tarsal bones.
Usually, with the movement of the foot pain would be better. If it is more severe then needs surgery to repair bones. Kindly get examined with orthopedic and get an x-ray also done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
