Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I HAVE A DULL THROBBING ACHE.. INTERMINANTLY IN THE CENTER OF MY CHEST, A HEADACHE AND MY LEFT SHOULDER IS ACHING SOME. (I HAVE THICKENING OF THE HEART WALL) IS THIS SOMETHING I NEED TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT. ( I HAVE ALSO HAD VERTIGO, OR LIGHT HEADED NESS AT TIMES)
You should be concerned about your cardiac status. Immediately consult a doctor when you experience chest pain. Also, take ECG. If ECG seems normal, then proceed to treadmill test. If it shows abnormal, doing CAG will help. Regularly monitor your blood pressure, as left ventricular hypertrophy indicates hypertension.
Thanks & regards,
Dr. K.T. Mathew
