What Does Severe Pain In The Head Indicate?

I am having intermittent pain in my head, not like a headache. The pains last for a fraction of a second and occur every 10 to 15 minutes apart sometimes much longer - hours. This has happened before many months ago but just started again a few days ago.

Tension headache, overwork, stress, smoking, lack of sleep, high blood pressure, etc, can be the possibilities.


Check your blood pressure first.


Also check refractive error problem.


Avoid smoking and take proper 8 hour sleep.


Try to avoid constant work on computer if applicable.


Respiratory tract infection can also lead to headaches.
