What Does Severe Pain In The Hips And Legs Indicate?

I fell down a few steps in Sept 2017. Xrays indicated no fractures. I ve followed my MD.s instructions to the letter. Still, as of 1/26/2018, still have severe pain in right hip upper leg and back on right side.. I m guessing this is tendon/ ligament damage. My question is is this type of injury recovery very long term such as 6 or 8 months or should I be looking at some other causation?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It does seem you are suffering from soft tissue injury. I don't think it's a tear or it would have been diagnosed by your doctor. I would advise you to consider taking physical therapy with the help of a chiropractor as it will help you to recover faster. Wax bath also helps to heal tissue injury faster.

You can discuss that with your therapist. Meanwhile, you can take tablet Chymoral forte which will enhance tissue healing. if you are not relieved even after that you should consider getting yourself reassessed by your orthopaedician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
 Dr. Nazma.amman
