What Does Severe Pain In The Hips Indicate?
Hi, my husband had small cell carcinoma five years ago. He had part of his lung removed. He had been doing fine for five years. He has a lot of pain in his hip. It is excruciating now. He had a X-ray done. The doctor said his hip looked fine. No breaks. Arthritis is minimal. He has now ordered a MRI to see if he has lesions. Could it be possible that the cancer has returned?

what is the age of your Husband. it could be arthritis which is still not noticeable on X ray and it could also be some soft tissue inflammation . We should do the scan that he suggested and wait for the reports .
