What Does Severe Pain In The Knees Indicate?

Hello I was wondering. I got slammed into a fence by a horse the other day and my knee got badly cut. Is extremely bruised and is darkest around the cut. The knee is tender to touch. Severe pain, inability to bend without extreme pain. It has a slight deformity. Should I get it x rayed?

to exclude fracture take x-ray of knee take inj tt and proper dressing with asceptic measure. dressing with providone iodine may be done.keep the wound clean and donot touch with dirty hand or linen.
