What Does Severe Pain In The Knees Indicate?

When my knees are bent for any length of time, I feel a stabbing pain which is so bad it freezes me and makes me cry out, yet I m generally fine if my legs are straight and it doesn t hurt to walk. It used to be very infrequent, but now it is happening multiple times a day. I teach and have little kids, and I m scaring them with my flashes of excruciating pain. What is this?

Hello,

Maybe you have ACL or PCL tear. Kindly get x-ray or MRI of the knee done because if you have so much pain may some kind of injury would have caused.

You might not have noticed the trivial trauma happened during some time which might be causing you all this. Kindly get back to us with the reports for the further follow-up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
