Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a sharp shooting pain in my left ear X 2 days last week which the PA said was an allergy. I don t have any allergies that I know of. I took the Chlor-tabs and it seemed to help slightly. Now I have a blistery rash on the roof of my mouth which started about 3 days ago. With each successive day it has progressed to cover the left half of my palatte. At the same time I have developed successive red spots on my face the form a crust. They are tender, but not actively painful unless rubbed. Because it is hemispheric I was wondering if shingles is likely.
HI Well come to HCM Thank for asking I really appreciate your concern, it seems to be allergic conditions but some how the three condition are not related with each other like oral lesion and skin rash and the otalgia (ear pain), but it could be the viral infection, condition can be managed for the pain and other symptoms if needed else it may be self limiting, if the symptoms or the conditions remains as it is or increasing then you have to see the family physician hope this information helps.
