What Does Severe Pain In The Left Foot Indicate?

Hi, I am trying to figure out why my left foot hurts with so much pain in the morning as soon as my foot touch the floor. When I start walking to the bathroom, located in my bedroom area, I am in so much pain. It s only the left foot. The foot does not bother me during the day during work. Please advise.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Foot pain in the morning is mostly due to arthritis... the joint swelling. Anti-inflammatory medicines over the counter would give some relief.

It's ideal to consult an orthopedic surgeon, get investigated to type arthritis & have specific medications along with physiotherapy for good results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
