General Surgeon 's  Response
Patients with cementless hip replacements may have thigh pain for 18 to 24 months after surgery, until the implant is securely locked in place by bone growth. The main long-term problems of joint replacements are wear of the socket or loosening of the components' attachment to the bone. Please consult an Orthopedic surgeon.
