What Does Severe Pain In The Left Wrist Indicate?

Hello. I have been having a lot of pain in my left wrist. It feels like a very pointy bone that kind of sticks up and then my thumb will lock up several times thru out the day. I am having surgery on my right hand in March. carpal tunnel and middle finger fused and now I am having this issue with my other hand. would just like to know what and why this is happening.

Hello,

It can be due to carpal tunnel syndrome and needs to be treated by release through fasciotomy or by antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
