Please help me. I don’t know what to do. I have been having extreme pain for the past one and a half days and I am unable to walk. It now even hurts when I’m laying down doing nothing at all. It’s an extreme sharp pain going from the side of my foot that shoots all the way up my leg. I would rate this pain a 5/10 which is really bad. It hurts so much and I don’t know why. Please help me. Hello,

See, severe pain if it is radiating and along the course of sciatic nerve then there is nerve compression anywhere in the body. So, we need to examine you for the same.

For now, if you have such an intolerable pain then you can take any painkillers for temporary relief like Diclofenac, Tramadol, Pethidine, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, etcetera.

All these will give you temporary relief only and should not be taken more without doctor’s advice again. You can also take Neurobion forte drug for nerve healing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
