Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 36 yr male and I woke up the 3 days ago with an intense pain in my Rt foot. located in the arch right in front of the ball of my heel. I still have full movement of my foot and ankle it just brings tears to my eyes sometimes when I use it. It stays conststent through out the day, maybe lessening slightly if when I use a shopping cart to help walk through the store. I can not recall any twisting or injury to it, what is going on. Do I need to see a DR. ince there was no trauma.
I think you had the sprain in the limb may be any trauma you might have noticed and caused a tear in the tendon or something. I do not know if it is swollen or not.
Kindly, get an x-ray once to rule out any condition. If anything is found in the x-ray we can treat accordingly.
The sprain can be treated without medication with simple home based messages or warm water towel pressures.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
