Hi. I’ve been suffering on and off with a painful tailbone since giving birth to my youngest child 3 years ago. The last 2 days have been agonising. It’s painful to sit, stand from sitting, urinate and turn over when I’m lying down. What can be causing this please?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I think there is a chance that you may have damaged a ligament while delivery. This will need to be tested by an MRI. As per the report of the MRI further suggestions can be given. I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
