What Does Severe Pain In The Thighs And Underarm Indicate?

hello, recently I have been having some thing I consider to be a deep tissue pain issue. sometimes in my inner thigh area some times in the soft tissue of my underarm. I used to experience this kind of pain/cramp when I was taking Lipitor for high cholesterol. I have been off that medication for quite a long time. it concerns me when the pain strikes, as I feel it is severe enough I want to faint. then it goes away. I am not having the pain today.

Hi,

I understand your concern.

Lipitor is a cholesterol lowering drug. Its use is often associated with muscle problems like pain, weakness, etc.

I usually recommend Ubiquinol CoQ10 to patients who should take Lipitor to ease these muscle issues.

So, should discuss with your doctor if can change to other alternatives for Lipitor. If it is a must to use it, should take Ubiquinol.

All the best.
