What Does Severe Pain On The Left Side Of The Breast Indicate?

Lately I have been experiencing severe pain in the side of my left breast. It is very painful and comes on suddenly. It will go away and come back several times within an episode within minutes of eachother. then it eventually is gone. I am 53 year old female. is this anything i should be concerned with

your symptoms are suggestive of mastitis/abscess.

however, other causes need to be ruled out like eczema/malignancy/paget's disease

for this your detailed history is required like
1.allergic reaction anywhere in body, history of allergy, history of exposure to any allergen( ECZEMA)

2. history of discharge from nippe, color of discharge from nipple. any mass in the area/family history of breast cancer or ovarian cancer.(malignancy)

3. is the area painful/red/tender, do you feel any swelling(mastitis/abscess)

also please get following investigations done and follow up with a doctor in clinic=
1.mammography
2. USG
3.CBC with PBS

for symptomatic relief take nsaid like diclofenac, PCM for pain.
