What Does Severe Pain Under The Ball Of The Right Foot Indicate?
i have terrible pain under the ball of my right foot, toe next to the big toe, it feels like half a golf ball under my foot the swelling pushes my 2nd and third toe apart the swelling is on top also and if i am on it the hole foot turns red. i can not bend my toes forward and backward very far. it pulls on the bottom when i do. it seems like it generates from between the number 2 and three toe, doctor said cellulitis but i have my doubts. dont know if it has anything to do with it but i blew my left knee up three days before.
Severe pain under the ball of your foot can be due to cellulitis or fascitis. Cellulitis is usually accompanied by redness, pain, fever, nausea and vomiting and it needs an immediate treatment in form of antibiotics.
I suggest you consult a surgeon at the earliest for further management. If the above-mentioned symptoms are not present then you need to consult your physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
