What Does Sharp Pain In The Upper Left Thigh And Shoulder Indicate?

I was had sexual intercourse 6 months ago, my two legs were lifted back toward my shoulder and I felt a sharp pain on my upper left thigh. Now 2months ago it started to ache now it hurts everyday when I sit in a chair it really hurts. Was something pulled when I felt that pain?? why did it take two months to hurt and I m 62yrs. old. Thank You, Cy

Hi.
You have not done any crime by indulging in postures of your choice while doing sex at this age. But may be you are right to guess that something pulled.
It seems that after pulling or slight dislocation or minutest prolapse of IVD could be the possible causes and it took some time to manifest pain and precipitation fully.
Your clinical doctor needs some physical examination and x ray of l/ s spine to comment further. By the time some relaxing gel/ oil applications over agfected area generally will bring relief.
