What Does Slightly Nodular Calcific Density Found In Lungs Mean?
Hello.good afternoon. I went to the hospital last week to have my chest xray.then they said in my result that i have a slightly nodulocalcific density found in my lungs.what is it?is this cancerous?they conduct another lab xray on me after the day we found out those just to clarify what are those spot.

In my opinion you should not worry much.
And no need to think for cancer at all.
As calcified lesions are not cancerous. So stop worrying about cancer.
Calcified nodule suggest healed,scarred, inactive lesion. It suggest non infectious nature of nodule.
This can be due to
1. Old pneumonia
2. Old tuberculosis.
So nothing should be done for treatment in your case.
And no need to worry much for cancer.
