What Does Sluggishly Progressive-20% Mean In A Semen Analysis?
Hello doctor my semen analysis as follows liquefaction time >1hr color greywhite, volume 4.0ml viscosity-increased,reaction ph -8.0 sperm comcentration 36mill/ml motality rapid progressive - 25% moderately progressive-25% sluggishly progressive-20% nonmotile-30%agglutonation-nil,morphology -normal,fructose -present. is this normal?
Total motility of sperm is decreased with increased liquefaction time and viscosity. You need to get a direct check up with a urologist to rule out any infection or varicocele.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
