What Does Small Corticated Bony Density Adjacent To Left Greater Trochanter Mean?
Hello. What is a 3 cm sclerotic area in the medial left iliac body with a 0.7 cm sclerotic focus in the left iliac wing and mildly increased density in the left acetabular roof? What is sclerotic metastases? What is a small corticated bony density adjacent to the left greater trochanter?
1.The report suggest there are multiple densities in the left iliac bone, ace tabular roof with with sclerotic margins. 2.Sclerotic metastasis means when primary is known and multiple sclerotic foci in the bones suggest metastasis. 3.Small cortical - outer border of the bone shows increased density adjacent to grater trochanter. 4.Possibilly metastasis if primary is known, If not then headed infective process. 5.I would recommend complete skeletal survey with abdomen pelvis ultrasound for any metastasis and else where primary cause.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
