What Does Smelly Vaginal Discharge With Pelvic And Lower Back Pain Suggest?
Please help. I am a 44 year old married mother of 4. I ve been having a discharge for 2 years. I ve been To my Ob/gyn about it she seems to think it s nothing. It has a foul Oder at times. I am now having some pelvic and severe lower back pain. What could this be? I only have a discharge when something is wrong.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely leukorrhea. This can occur due to infection or hormonal imbalance. A pelvic examination and swab should be done to rule out this. Ultrasound examination also will be needed to rule out any pelvic inflammatory disease. In case of infection a proper antibiotic therapy will benefit you. If it is due to hormonal imbalance hormone treatment will help you. You can also use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH which will help in getting rid off foul smell. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
