What Does Soreness Around The Waist Indicate?

I have a sore about the size of a dime right on my waistline just below and to the right of my belly button that does not seem to want to heal. It s been about two weeks now I thought it was maybe irritation from my belt buckle but even putting a bandaid on it does not seem to help.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Possibility of fungal skin infection is more likely.
The area You are describing is constantly in contact with the moisture and perspiration.
So possibility of fungal skin infection is more.
So apply antifungal cream (ketoconazole) thrice daily.
Avoid moisture and perspiration. Keep proper hygiene of that part.
Wear only cotton clothes.
If not improving after 2 weeks then consult dermatologist.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
