What Does Soreness In The Arm Muscle Indicate?

I use Neupro 6mg/24 hour patches daily. I place the patch on my shoulder alternating shoulders ever other day. I have been using this patch for about 3 years. I have now noticed some muscle soreness on my upper arms. Could this be from using the same place for the patch every other day ?

Yes, repeated application of such patches can cause muscle irritation and soreness.
You are using hormone patches.
These patches release hormones slowly.
So muscles lying under the patches can be irritable and cause soreness.
So better to change the place for 1-2 weeks.
Apply ice packs on sore area.
