What Does Soreness In The Chest Indicate?

I have some minor soreness just in the center of my chest when I touch or rub it. It does not radiate but is uncomfortable. Been going on for about 3 to 4 days. I am active but under some stress because of arthritis in the neck which affects my shoulder area with soreness in the collarbone area too.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have seen many similar cases like this in my clinic. Your complaints about chest pain can be mostly like due to arthritis so I advise you to take T.Ibuprofen for 3 days for pain relief and if symptoms persist I suggest you to take an ECG and refer a physician for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
