Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have noticed a soreness on the outer aspect of my upper arm just above my armpit and below the shoulder. Also, sore below armpit in the back side of same armpit. Like if you were to place your hand under your arm, and then go back a little more. Not in my armpit, but just behind it toward my spine. At first thought it was an irritation from my bra but it s continued for about a week now. No redness or swelling, just sore to touch. Glandular areas?

Based on the history you have shared, it seems more likely to be muscular however for reassurance local examination by your primary care physician to rule out any swollen lymph nodes and local examination may be needed.
Otherwise, some muscles insert from trunk to the arm and insert on rotator cuff area or form boundaries of axilla and any strain can cause pain in the muscle belly or tendons.
Physiotherapist review and exercise may be helpful. For pain OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen can be used for symptomatic relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
